Beauteous Carousel – how to remove black menu top & change font color

hi! referring to the Beauteous Carousel layout, does anyone know how to entirely remove the black menu portion at the top of the layout? i kinda figured out how to hide all the icons, but the black background is still there.

and how do i change the font for the website title/ header? do advise, hanks!
