Changing Basics of ‘Featured Posts’

I’m using your ‘TECH BLOG’ template in my blog ().
In my featured images part, I’m setting the first tag as my cat of post. But If I add any tag which comes first alphabetically, it becames tag of featured post. How can i change it?
