Mystery – Resizing Photos for Posts

Hi, I am using pictures with different sizes in my post; in my main page, the image above each post is stretched. How can I reduce that so I can check the best size and update/change some of my pictures.

I tried to change some rows, but it did not work.

I was able to resize the image at:
.post img{max-width:25%}

But now, how can I insert the image in the center? By default the image is located at the left.
