A couple of problems about Mini Mag Template

Hey Guys:
I Liked this template a lot.first have a look at the live preview here:

As you can see,it should be social media icons at the right top corner but in template i am using,it did not work.
There is a “what’s new” at the top of the header but it did not work.
And also Sub-categories dont show the subjects.
